  • Timpani: head clearing & replacement, gauge alignments, slipping pedal adjustments, greasing/oiling parts, tuning gauge letter replacement

  • Drumhead tuning and replacement: concert snare drum, drum set, concert bass drum, concert toms, world percussion, marching percussion

  • Mallet Percussion: bar cord replacement, bar tuning, bar refinishing, post alignment/replacement, rubber post sleeve replacement, vibraphone damper felt replacement, bar cleaning, chime cord replacement, spring replacement, resonator repairs, frame repairs

  • Accessories: cymbal strap replacement, tambourine re-heading, castanet restringing, triangle clip string replacement, wind chimes re-stringing

  • Marching Percussion: head replacement and tuning, hardware maintenance, harness maintenance

  • Orff Classroom Instruments: resonator box repairs (damage, pin replacement, tubing replacement), missing part replacement, bar replacement

  • Hardware repair: stripped thumb screws, bent hi-hat rods, cracked bushings

Most repairs and maintenance can be done on-site, so you’re never without your equipment. However, some repairs may require off-site labor at my workshop. In this case, your job will be prioritized to get your equipment back to you as soon as possible (pickup/delivery fees may apply).

Policies

On-site Service & Pickup/Delivery Fees

On-site Service 100 miles or less (roundtrip): $65

On-site Service over 100 miles (roundtrip): Calculated at the current standard IRS rate based on total mileage.

Equipment pick up and/or delivery: Calculated at the current standard IRS rate based on total roundtrip mileage.

Work Authorization

All customers will receive an estimate before repairs will commence. Work will be scheduled and necessary supplies will be ordered once an approved School District Purchase Order or letter/email from music booster organization is received. Exceptions to this policy can be discussed for emergency situations only.

For community music schools/churches/other non-school organizations: a letter or email approving the estimate and authorizing work and financial commitment from a staff member is required. 

For individuals: a deposit may be required before necessary parts are ordered and before work will commence. 

Payment Terms

Schools, music booster organizations, community music schools, and churches: Payment is due on a NET30 basis. 

Individuals: A deposit may be required to start any work and final payment is due immediately upon receiving the invoice and delivery of instrument(s).
